On 17 June 2026, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States was signed digitally by the Presidents of the two countries.
H.E President Masoud Pezeshkian signed the document in Tehran, while American president signed it at the Palace of Versailles, France. The Memorandum of Understanding was concluded with the aim of ending hostilities, consolidating the ceasefire, and launching negotiations toward a comprehensive agreement between the two countries.
